I'm looking for new marketing ideas for my ebay business. Its a shop that sells monkey related items. I'm looking for crazy and unique ideas that will really bring attention to the shop. For instance, dressing up in a gorilla suit and handing out flyers. The crazier the better.

Create a monkey mini-series (using cartoon, real life footage, whatever) and use Youtube to generate publicity, word of mouth advertising and, possibly, a cult following for your business (or the mini-series anyway) :) Doesn't necessarily have to cost alot to do, just get creative with how you source technical skills!

Might be worth trying something along the lines of www.faildogs.com except for monkeys obviously.
